There are two famous natural bridges in Ayia Napa and The Cape Greco National Park…
They are worthy of a visit, since these fantastic arches are not man-made. They are natural rock formations slowly worn away through years of erosion by the wind, rain, ice, and waves wearing down the rocks.
Let’s see what The Love Bridge and The Crow’s Arch about shall we…?

The two rock bridges in Ayia Napa are natural wonders of The Cape Greco in the Famagusta (Ammochostos in Greek) district.
They were quietly forming throughout the years while the legends of Ayia Napa were created amongst them.
Legend has it, if you kiss your beloved whilst standing in the middle of The Love Bridge (or the Bridge of the Lovers) and you make a wish, it is foretold that your wish will come true. Let’s all believe in that one eh…? Be careful what you wish for…!!
The Love Bridge is around 6 meters long. It was formed naturally without any human intervention!
Many newlywed couples and honeymooners visit this beautiful natural bridge to have their pictures taken whilst admiring the crystal clear blue Mediterranean Sea. What a way to rubber-stamp the beginning of your long journey through life together. It is for sure the most romantic place on the island…!!
Pictures taken at sunrise or sunset are the best…!! An excellent idea, especially for those who love photography…!! During sunrise and sunset, the spot where The Love Bridge is located becomes magical, you can watch in awe as the colours change before your eyes, don’t be late, you’ll miss the best bit…!!
Sunrise or sunset, they will both equally steal your breath away, leaving you feeling full of life, breathe in the wonderful sea air, and admire the panorama. What an awesome experience, especially if you share it with your loved one...!!
Now, let’s focus on The Crow’s Arch".
Kamara means Arch.
Korakas means Crow.
This lovely rocky arch is located in The Cape Greco National Park.
It is highly recommended “not to walk” on the top of this wonderful natural rocky Arch, nor “swim underneath” it. It’s believed that it is not structurally sound…!! No-one knows when it will finally succumb to the elements, eventually but finally reclaimed by the waves…
Legend has it, “once-upon-a-time” in this place smugglers used to meet, apparently due to its secluded location. Today, The Crow’s Arch is an amazing, natural feature of Ayia Napa…!!
During sunrise and sunset this place is spectacular…!! Taking pictures is something that you should get used to here in Cyprus, because the island is so photogenic...!!
Nature lovers…? You will love The Crow’s Arch (and The Love Bridge too) because the creator was mother nature herself...!! No human intervention...!!
Both of the bridges are natural wonders in the Famagusta district, where you can find endless amounts of tranquillity. Looking for peace and quiet? Visit the two bridges early in the morning or in the early evening while the sun goes down. You will never forget it…!! :-)
