Protaras, Cyprus: The Locals’ Travel Guide

Protaras, Cyprus...

What an amazing resort to visit!

Time for storytelling!!

The first time we went to Protaras, we went with our parents when were little. Now we are adults, we visit this exotic resort so often, that we have become to know it like the back of our hand!

Like Ayia Napa, we have explored Protaras many times just for the fun of it! We love it there! :-)

Please note, although Protaras in Cyprus (the neighbour town of Ayia Napa) doesn’t have as many attractions as Paphos, it is one of the most visited exotic resorts in golden Famagusta (Ammochostos in Greek).

Why? I hear you say!

Mostly, because of its beaches, bars, cafes, pubs, clubs, lounges, restaurants, taverns, the Cape Greco National Park, and of course the nightlife.

There are also a few chapels to visit, like the Profitis Elias Chapel and the Ayioi Saranta Chapel (a church in a cave). However, these are not all the attractions in Protaras.
